Start-up Nation

Israel may be a young country with less population and no resources but still is among the developed countries. The books tells you the stories how Israel turned itself to a country where other countries aspires to learn from. The book is about innovation and entrepreneurship and how one small country, Israel, came to embody both. The book is part exploration, part argument and part story telling with 14 Chapters divided under 4 parts.
The book also captures the conscription national service which I think not only Bhutan, all small nations can learn from. The whole book is learning experience and one quote from the book is my favorite; George Bernard Shaw wrote “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples, then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”

Please read this book and you will learn a lot about economy and economic growth, start up ventures and so on.
